    • Calasetta is not the Costa Smeralda or the jet set hot spots. It's stil possible to get a relatively untouristy experience. Most tourists come from Italy and some from northern europe and scandinavia. I've met only a handful of americans since I was a child. It's still a bit of a novelty for people to see an american here.Most people who come here come year after year and rent houses or have some familial ties.

     I found your info about Calasetta very interesting. I love to travel to places that are not very much visited by tourists because that it is the best way to learn about the place, the people, their customs. Thanks a lot for your helpful comments.
