Gibraltar is a strange place - it's good for a day trip, the Rock is just so spectacular, and it is so easy to get round the whole island. But if you keep going back, there is always something different to look at. And if you speak Spanish and can understand some Llanito you suddenly realise what an incredible fusion of cultures make up what Gibraltar is today.
- Pros:Spectacular setting. Friendly people. Great history. Lovely buildings and old streets to wander round. Excellent and cheap bus service.
- Cons:Expensive - compared with Spain Portugal and Morocco. Shortage of Spanish beer.

Interesting to read your comments about Gib - (I'm sugarpuffs mother!) - have been living in and around Gib for more years than I care to remember and my first ever apartment was in Giro's Passage!
hi and i found similar with what youve said about Gibraltar - an interesting mix to be found and experienced there. some soul searching time i spent there ... so its quite a sentimental place. but nice start to your pages.
