Phoenix is a great place to visit in the winter time and we have many part time residents from other parts of the country who live here for 6 months out of the year because of the mild winters. If you are into desert scenery, hispanic culture and native, shopping and sports then this is the place for you. But be aware if you are traveling here during the summertime it is best that you only venture out in the morning or at night after the sun has gone down and remember to protect your skin.Phoenix is a growing sprawling city where many families from other parts of the southwest choose to relocate because of affordable housing, an abundance of jobs, and master planned communities.
Downtown Phoenix is where the baseball and basketball stadiums are, and there are also many museums such as the science museum and the herberger theatre. Downtown Phoenix extends from 7th street to 18th avenue and can be accessed via the free dash bus.
