Kids' territory, do not mess with them here.

Playground - this is where i live

im referring playground to the entire world. this includes mars and the moon too, the whole wide universe. how the hell m i gonna get there anyway?

zoom right down to planet earth. theres this small little dot which u c. yes, itz singapore!

singapore, being dull and mundane as regarded by people, would become more exciting only when u open ur eyes big enough to wander thru out.

check out the neighbourhood hawker centres (i dont recommend newton hawker centre as itz really a Tourist Trap!), cycling at pulau ubin, rollerblade or jog at east coast park, read at borders and kino in orchard, eat at geylang ~ countless things u can do in this so called boring city.
HDB flats in my neighbourhood

Most of the Singaporeans dwell in these...

High rise flats, highest to be at Tanjong Pagar soon at its 50th floor. all these are government flats sold to residents for living. u know, in the oldern days, our living standards r poor. when it came to housing, most of us actually live in attap houses and those were easily torn down and caught fire. the bt ho swee fire incident was one of the significant disasters simply caused by the negligence of a guy who threw his alit cigarette into a rubbish dump.

goverment solved our housing issue by building quality flats. i have never seen a flat collapse. but one point, the older flats as compared to those in new towns like seng kang and punggol are of an old fashion design.

i do wish i can live in a condo someday. but, economically, living in a 5 room hdb flat apartment is much more affordable and u can spend ur monies on other priorities, like Travel?
Singapore, known also for its busiest port

Life in the city

now that we have macdonalds and many eaterie places which open 24hrs, the phenomenon of becoming a sleepless city is coming our way.

the integrated resorts (which would be completed by end 2009), the new changi airport Terminal 3, circle line MRT... sprouting new buildings here and there.

vivo city which was opened end 2006 was a refreshing hybrid of whats cool and whats conventional - all in a mall. my fave places in there - planet fitness (which i wish v much to be their member, tho im already a cali member), PageOne, Giant, Daiso and their wide variety of shops and restaurants and foodcourts

Singapore, the place where i belong.

YOU NEED TO COME TO SEE CALIFORIA. Your map shows me you could swim across.

Good intro. Hope you'll add more. Have to admit the last food I will be trying next month when I'm in Singapore will be fish & chips. We see far too much of them here in the UK!
