"Land of Scots" Scotland by earthflyer

I came to Scotland in the summer of 2006 about 4 weeks after returning home from a 14 month backpacking trip in South East Asia and Indian Sub-Continent. The idea was to look for work in the Edinburgh area but things didn't work out, so after a few weeks I just spent a little bit of time to explore a couple of places in Scotland before going back home where I had a better chance of finding a decent job.

I stayed for a few weeks in Edinburgh and spent a bit of time looking around the city when I was not looking for work. When I decided to give up I travelled north to Inverness for a few days and from here I joined a bus tour to the Orkney Islands which took me around some of the sites on the main island like Kirkwall, Stromness, Skara Brae and Rings of Bodgar instead of returning back to Inverness that same day I spent a few days here and caught the same bus back to Inverness when I was ready to leave.
