********* I have some really sad news for anyone who has been or is planning a trip to Footsteps eco-lodge. There has been a bush fire which currently sounds like it was rather serious and they have had to close at present. I have sent them an email with my sympathies and my hopes that they will be up and running again soon**********

On my latest trip to the Gambia I had the pleasure of staying with my friends family in the small village of Kundam (about 30 minutes outside Basse). They are some of the most friendly accomodating people that i've ever met.
After a 12 hour trip from my dad's in Brusubi i arrive to welcome of around thirty members of lamin's family and friends and a delicious home cooked Benechin.
An amazing 3 days which i will certainly be repeating on my next trip

This September i shall be moving to the Gambia as i have a place studying at the International Business College.
Offering the same courses as you would find in the UK offering Gambians great job opportuinities with internationally recognised qualifications.
