A small house, quiet and simple I now live in a village I discovered when I was 18. After renting many different flats in many different places during 19 years, I had the opportunity to buy this small house a year ago. This village is really a nice place to live, with a lot of people coming from all around the world, very open minded. It's quiet and peaceful ; don't look here for the energy of a big city ! We have no public transports, no cinema, no night-clubs, etc. You'll have to like reading, or walking, or cycling and, mainly, to be independant to live in such a place ; but very simple things (having dinners with friends, going to the river, making music, painting, enjoying nature) can be done all days without any stress, any violence (no noise, no robbery, no traffic jam, no pollution). Just enjoy a very simple life, go tasting the local wines, discover the local scenic places and local markets. And with internet almost everywhere, you'll be ready to share anything with the entire world at any moment you like. |
Roxanne : my dog Roxanne has been sharing her life with me for 7 years now. She's a wild haired dachshund with a stong personnality. Roxanne is well known here 'cause she's escaping very often...and finally ends in old buildings chasing cats... She had 7 puppies in february 2004. Now she's a young retired, enjoying any pleasure life can bring to her (a bit of cheese, the smell of a wild boar, the visit of a friend, caresses on her belly, etc.) Roxanne's only travelling in France, mainly to go in the mountains where she can spend days hiking or playing into the snow. |
Rivers during the summer Rivers are holding a special fascination to me. When the weather is getting sunny, I try to discover some hidden spots on the banks... |
