Perfect Place To Relax | 2nd Visit - 1/2008 (Me and JamesWTC) |

| Behind that swimming place is where I stayed |
| | Rhein River This picture does no justice. The weather was semi gloomy and the sun was fighting its way to brighten up the area. It turned out to be a perfect weather after all. |
| | Old town on a Sunday afternoon Now this is interesting. I don't think I've seen houses that are not "marked"... every house in this part of town shows the year it was built and some were never restored. Visiting this area indeed gives you the back-in-the-day feeling... and yes it was wicked quiet. We were tiptoeing and miming while walking pass these houses fearing that we can get yelled at by Casper the friendly ghost. |

| Pros: | "Small city, easy to understand transpo system, relaxing, parks all over the place" | | Cons: | "James and Markus (my pals who brought out the dumbness in me for being an American tourist in Switz...jackass!)" | | In A Nutshell: | "Basel is like Boston (without the trams of course) - it feels like I never left home" |
