Remarkable Landscape

Halema'uma'u Crater, Kilauea
On my first full day, I decided to make the journey to Volcanoes National Park. I was amazed by the varied landscapes and stark cliffs and craters. I'm very glad I made the trip.

Nice volcano pics. Enjoyed your tips, brought back memories of visiting there about 10 years ago

This is fascinating ! Wow, to be so close to "earth", I mean lava and even to touch molten lave, or at least get close :-)

Very lunar here, wasn't it, but next time I'm hiking out to the bubbly live lava if at all possible!
