Toronto - What an Awesome city~

Dundas Square

A Walking trip

Our Day in Toronto started at Union Station. From the moment we got off the train we knew we were in for a treat. The station was crowded with people looking like they knew where they were going. Well, we didn't but thanks to the lovely people on VT we at least had a few destinations in mind.

This city is amazing. I grew up in Los Angeles, California, so I thought I was acquainted with the city life, but it's nothing like Toronto. The city is so very fast paced and there were people everywhere. It was magnificent.

Hockey Hall of Fame

After we left the station, we headed to the right towards Yonge Street which took us right by the Hockey Hall of Fame. Michael isn't too much of a hockey fan so we didn't go in, but it's the closest we have ever been to an actual Hall of Fame.

We cruised further down Yonge street and passed by some incredible shops. We then ended up at Toronto's Eaton Centre which was simply fantastic! I loved this place. We spent a lot of time there. Michael and Brock enjoyed themselves there as well, and they aren't too much of shoppers!

Chinatown

We then walked down Dundas Street to Chinatown. I had read about a place that served traditional Chinese Buns and I hadn't had those since I was younger so this was a special treat for me. Turns out that this wasn't the buns I was hoping for, but by the time we got there, they were satisfying.

Chinatown was very impressive! I think it is the 3rd largest Chinatown in all of North America, if I remember correctly?

We also went by the Art Gallery of Ontario. It was a place I really wanted to go to, but they were under major construction and none of the art pieces were displayed, only the sculptures so we didn't go in.

After a full day of walking and some aching feet, we asked where the movie theatre was so we could kill some time and take a break. We found it easily from the directions we were given and sat down to watch Harry Potter.

All in all I LOVED TORONTO! What a magnificent city!
