This is a wonderful place, and I really do miss living here. There was always so much to do, but if you're a gambler, do beware! There are too many temptations here! I found that the best place for video poker was to sit at a 7-11 or gas station and win there!
The lifestyle here is really fast paced, it is a 24 hour city! I did watch the sun come up many times. I do enjoy the weather here, yes it can be REALLY HOT, but it's a dry heat. Not humid like Texas. |
|  | Downtown Las Vegas Away from the strip is downtown Las Vegas. Here you will find Fremont Street. At night the have Fremont Street Experience Light and Sound Show.
There are mostly the older casinos in downtwon, and you can really tell there is a different atmosphere here compared to the strip. This is the part of Las Vegas that you mostly see on TV shows and the movies, so when you come here, do venture away from the strip and visit downtown. |
