I fell in love with Dominica. The people, the places. Dominica is really a diamond in the rough. No modernization, no big fancy hotels, just the beauty of Dominica. We asked our tour operator (Levi Baron of bumpiingtours.com) why there wasn't many hotels and he said because the people didn't want a lot of fancy hotels. They like the way it is. I agree with them. I like it the way it is too. The rainforests are amazing. |
|  | Gorgeous scenery Hop in a van a just drive around the island. The island is gorgeous, lush and beautiful. I can understand how the locals get used to it, to them it's just another day in Dominica, but to us, it was a little bit of paradise! |
| | Mero Beach - Black Sand Beach Be sure to take a drive to Mero Beach while in Dominca. This is a black sand beach. The black sand is from volcanic activity. Very cool and glittery. People here are also very friendly and personable. You will love Dominica! |
