Name of Shop: Bangsar Village
This place used to be a small mall with almost everything one needs. They have little of everything but yet it has always been special and nice. Now, they have extended the place to the street accross and build a huge place by itself and a skywalk to link the old cute mall with the newly extended one. In the new mall, they have all kinds of boutiques and shops. I just noticed that they have a double store. For example, they have the MPH bookshop in the old one as well as in the new one. The same for Starbucks, Bakerzin and a few others. It's a very nice place to go to.
What To Buy: There's a special Royal Albert shop in here. The first one in Kuala Lumpur that I've seen. Normally, it's been sold in a department store or other shops with other names.

Well, Gucci is Gucci. If you're looking for it, then the boutique is located in Suria KLCC. The full address is G05, Ground Floor, Suria KLCC, Kuala Lumpur. It caters for both men and women with the production line of Gucci bags, which includes totes, clutches, and hobo models, shoes, accessories and etc... They also have another boutique at Avenue K - the full address is: Lot G3, Ground Floor, Avenue K, KL. The contact number is 603 2161 8813 Another boutique is in Starhill.
What To Buy: Bags, shoes, accessories and etc...
What To Pay: RM2,000 and above

There are many British India outlets but this is one of my favourites as it's new, big and spacious. It's located in 1 Utama The full address is G303A, Ground Floor, Phase 2, 1 Utama Shopping Centre. Another outlet is in Bangsar Shopping Center and Great Eastern Mall in Ampang.
What To Buy: Men and Women's cothing as well as furnitures.

Name of Shop: The Carat Club
A Malaysian store that stocks exquisite jewellery. They are renowned for their diamonds. Most of it are from South African region as well as imported stocks from Antwerp, Belgium. There's a vague information on the colur, cut and clarity though. One should ask more on the details. Malaysian attitudes on buying diamonds are based upon the carat itself and the beautiful outlooks of it ad not on the details.
What To Buy: Diamonds and other jewelleries offered.

Sungei Wang Plaza: Mall For Almost All Kinds Of Everything

Name of Shop: Sungei Wang Plaza
It's a big Department Store that caters to all kinds of things. It houses to Metrojaya and Parkson, as far as I can remember. It was established in 1977 at the so called center of Kuala Lumpur. Apparently, there are 700 shopping outlets here for one to browse through from accessories to footwear to IT to mobile communications to entertainment as well as local and International cuisine. Getting to Sungei Wang Plaza is easy as it's located in the Starhill area and can be accessed by Monorail, Taxis, Buses, Cars and Pedestrians.

If you're looking for a place to purchase, wines, champagnes, beers and liquors, then I definitely recommend this place. They give great discounts here. I always buy my stocks here for dinner parties and for the ever ready bar. The guy there by the name of Stephen is simply a brilliant fella. They have a good variety of wines there and plus, they always have something in promotion, just like wine shops in Europe.
What To Pay: Fairly Decent prices, depending to what you purchase.
