Saga: The Best Original Nasi Lemak

This is the best authentic Nasi Lemak place of all time. I'm a big fan of Nasi Lemak and for an original version without any extra dishes, then this is the place. It's a simple dish as it has boiled eggs, sambal, kacang, ikan bilis, and the rice itself but the way they cook it is with halwa and that's what makes it nice. It's the real original version.

They also serve other things that are very nice too such as Tauhu Bakar, Meehum Goreng, Mee Goreng and a few other things. Drinks are not too good here though. The coffee, Milo, tea and any other drinks are useless. Just the food.

This place is also unique becaus it's a mini museum. They have so many black and white pictures of Malaya, Prime Ministers, Sultans of Johor, P.Ramlee, Jalan Ampas studio, cast & crews, Mentri Besars and many more. It's a really pleasant place.

Favorite Dish: Nasi Lemak & Meehun Goreng.

Lido Seafood: Seafood In JB

This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Johor Baru itself. It's located within the city center, which is easily accessible and it's at the seaside.

The place is a Chinese owned restaurant and do expect that it'll be Chinese style seafood with big round tables with a red table cloth covering it and plastic chairs around. It's an open air concept and you'd feel the sea breeze. It's exciting to go to these type of places with a bunch of family and friends. I will post some pictures of the place and food the next time I go south.

Favorite Dish: I like the steam fish - there are many fish to choose from, depending to the season if I'm not mistaken.

The prawn curry is a must as well. Not forgetting the 'Lala' which is a type of clam or so. Not too sure about this. They have a special bun to dip into the curry. It's absolutely delicious. The crabs are excellent. Many different styles which are great. They have one with a black sauce, which is a bit spicy but nice and the other one is sweet and sour which is excellent too.
