General I visited this city only for one day.
It was a hot April day.
We saw the city centre, with its luxury shops beyond the port and a small reconstructed area.
In the East there is the unbelievable recently constructed area were Burj-el-Arab and other artificial islands have been made in the last years. |
Burj-el-Arab To go into Burg-el-Arab you have to pay and even then it is still quite difficoult.
If you go to the ¡6! star hotel nearby you can have a drink for not that much money (compared at least to Spanish standards) and you can also have even a bath in the beach nearby. From where you can get nice pictures with the building in the back.
(Ourselves we even get a swimming dress in a shop on the way for something like 5 EUR). |
