The Louvre is a great place to go to say you've gone. I could be just ignorant, but to me, the only things worth seeing are the Mona Lisa and Venus de Milo. It is so huge anyway, there is not much time to see anything else.

This, in my opinion, is a better museum than the Louvre. It has more art that is important, or at least more well-known to the general public. There are multiple works by artists such as Monet, Cezanne, Van Gogh, Lautrec, Gaugin, and others. The museum used to be a train station. There is a restaurant inside that is good for a small meal as big meals there are expensive.

If you can take a trip to the top, do so!! Great photo opportunities. It was nice because we were able to see it at night, in the day, in rain, and in snow.

This is where many famous people are buried. Pictures below include Jim Morrison and Chopin's gravesites. We were lucky enough to encounter a resident who offered to lead us to famous gravesites for a tip. It is really big, so it is best to bring a map with you so you know where to go.

There is a good confectionery on this street. Also, there are vendors (one below who made us some awesome crepes). The Arc de Triomphe is at the end of the street. There is a memorial beneath it and a museum at the top, neither of which we saw because we didn't know about it at the time. It's nice to take this street leisurely, at your own pace.
