Airport Shuttle Buses and other Prague, Czech Republic Transportation Tips

Getting TO/AROUND: There are 3 ways how to get from Airport to City Center...

1/ Public transportation - runs 5am - 12pm...at the airport take bus 119 and it takes you to last stop of metro line A, Dejvicka. From there you go to Mustek or Staromestska which are the stops in historical center of Prgaue

2/ Shuttle Bus CEDAZ - runs from the airport each half hour (on hour), from 5am - 9pm and cost 100czk and you can make deal with them where to take you or their last stop is in city center - Namesti Republiky...5min walk from Old Prague Hostel!

3/ Taxi - two companies are available at the airport - airport transport service and AAA taxi. Prices are about same...20eur to city center.

Getting TO/AROUND: Prague has two international train stations...Hlavni nadrazi (Main train station) and Nadrazi Holesovice...and here are the ways how to get to city center/Old Prague Hostel...

In front of both are standing taxis...AVOID!! They will overcharge you! If its necesary to take taxi ask them for price first (from Holesovice about 300czk to city center and Main train station is actually in city center so 100 - 200czk) or call AAA 14014

Public transportation...from Main train station...its in the center so walkable but also metro stop line C
from Holesovice...its metro stop too, line C, so just go to Museum or to Florenc and switch for line B and than Nam. Republiky and you will get off at the Municipal House/Old Prague Hostel...
