On arrival into Belize City, Belize the city can look dirty and run down and it is not until you get out of the city where you can find what beauty the country has to offer. The most popular areas are at Caye Caulker and Ambergris Caye. There are regular water taxis from Belize City that can take you out to the islands which is about $20 each. Belize has the second largest reef in the world after the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
