Getriedegasse is certainly a wonderful street to wander and all the big names are there. There are also many upmarket souvenir shops, but you need to be careful when buying your souvenirs and gifts here. If you compare prices with some of the street vendor souvenir sellers you will often find that the street vendors are quite a bit cheaper for the same item. I guess it's a matter of more expensive overheads for the shopkeepers in Getriedegasse than it is for the street vendors.
