Bus from Noerdlingen

The train from Fuessen left me at Noerdlingen and from there I had to take a bus to Dinkelsbuehl. Unfortunately the buses don't run very often and I had a wait of about two hours or more at the bus station outside the Bahnhof in Noerdlingen. Thank God I had a good book. To make matters worse, when the bus finally did come, it proceeded through the old town of Noerdlingen which is an absolute delight and what is more delightful is that right in the middle of the old town is another bus stop. Had I known this, I could have taken a taxi in from the Bahnhof to the old town and had a walk around this lovely little town to fill in the time. Oh well, we live and we learn. The journey from Noerdlingen to Dinkelsbuehl is quite scenic and passes through a number of Romantischestrasse towns. All for the princely sum of 3.50 euro. I must apologise for my one and only pic of Noerdlingen, which was taken in haste from out of the bus window.
