Chilly Helsinki

I have been a couple of times to this city now and i am not tired of it. If i will get a chance i will certainly go back again. Not that it wil happen in the foreseeable future, but one never knows.
There is something in this city that attracts me but i can´t exactly pinpoint what it is. (maybe this calls for anoter visit to find out haha). Been here in winter and summer and both have its good points and bad ones.


PS: I liked the VR commercial with those station guys in it. " Anteeksi...!". Let me explain: on of them is dreaming away thinking he is in the train, when he hears a voice "anteeksi" (excuse me) for asking for his tickets, he things its a pretty blond girl but in fact it is the other guy. That wakes him with a start so he nearly drops the ball he is helding in his hands.
Oh the joys of youtube VR commercial I watched all the other commercials too and I like them all. Despite the fact that I don't understand a word, well here and there.

The beach at Suomenlinna is favorite place for locals too to enjoy a swim and the sun.

    Hello Ingrid, these are fine tips and travelogues on Helsinki. The open-air museum looks especially interesting. I think you are perfectly right not to use your flash in the museum.

    Excellent page Ingrid!!! Love your photography, especially the Sibelius monument and the waterlillies!! The Katajanokka travelogue is impressive, love the architecture there, which I missed when I was there. Hoe gaat ie verder??
