Third and last legg of our Norway tour was its capital city. The night train from Stavanger dropped us off at 7.30 in the morning. So that was pretty early. After a little freshing up and breakfast we headed to town. Roughly our tour was as follows, walk to Vigelands parken from central station, then on the bus to go to the Vikingship museum, followed by the national heritage museum. Then back by bus to Akers Hus and from there walking back to the station to get the train back to Larvik.
Harbourside, Aker Brygge.
- Pros:Compact city with enough entertainment to please all
- Cons:Very busy after the countryside
- In a nutshell:Visit was too short, will have to come back

Looks like you enjoyed visit our brief visit to our capital. Vigelandsparken is a nice place for a stroll or sunbathing during summer ;)

Ingrid, I am from my Oslo trip and your page brings back many nice memories. I like the Vigeland Parken photo ...ufffff, I guess painting the Christian Raddich is not great fun ... :o)
The opening picture of Oslo came out really good. Its probably the changing colores of the leaves in the background that made it very special. Happy travels!
