Hot!!!!!!!

New, just came back from here. It was very very very warm. Temperatures one would expect in Athens or Marbella. It stayed warm all through the evening (and night).

The display in front of the Tor is an artist impression of the situation around the Tor just after the war had ended. On the back of this display there is a very usefull overview of the history of the Tor from just before the war till current times.

The new Holocaust monument had just been opened for public so I was very curious about it. Read more in my t-logue

the Tor

Can´t remember why but we were left behind at some place and had to run down all Unter den Linden to catch up with the group again. These bears got bigger and bigger so that was nice focus point. Only the fast walking is very good for taking nice pictures. They are a bit wobbly.

This place is huge and expensive. But shopping with your eyes is very cheap ;-). Would have like to watch some more but... more travel advice

Nicely done page Ingrid, I didn't actually realise there were concentration camps in Germany central. You cetainly captured the eariness of the holucast memorial

the monument is extremely controversial and i can understand both sides of the argument...its a shame it has to be such contrast but that is what berlin is about really
