Sofitel Frances Hotel
Sofitel Frances Hotel was literally around the corner from all of the historic buildings in the Colonial City. I loved this hotel. It is also a historic site. The staff was attentive and accommodating.
The best thing about this Hotel was its "continental breakfast." There was an open air restaurant where breakfast was served every morning. My favorite thing to do in the morning was to wake up and walk out of my room into the sunshine. I would go downstairs and enjoy fresh fruit juices--guava, orange, and pineapple, fresh and dainty pastries, and the most delicious eggs, carrots, potatoes and onions.
It was a joy to sit in the shade and observe the beautiful sky.
