Casablanca lies on the Atlantic coast. It is a sprawling city. My visit was not long enough in order to get to know the city very well and only explored a relatively small area. The city has many street cafes which gives it a very European feel, along with the colonial buildings. Sometimes you only have to be in a city for two or three days and you know you love it or hate it. I cannot make up my mind about Casa. Maybe, if I stayed longer, it could have more of an opinion. I should also take in account that I first visited Marrakesh and Essaouira, and then Casablanca. The highlight of my stay in Casa was to wander around and accidently find a market, interesting building and then Hassan II Mosque. |

Doctor38 Sun Nov 30, 2008 09:12 UTC This is a great Casa page. Thanks for visiting my Safi page. I visited Essouira ( my comment on your Essouira page in 2007). There are many great pages about the city so I decided not to put mine up. I'd rather put the effort into little-known places. | lynnehamman Wed Nov 26, 2008 13:55 UTC I would love Casablanca- especially for the eclectic architecture. And the souks! Good tips, honest opinion. Thanks | gilabrand Sun May 18, 2008 16:10 UTC Yummy, I love pickled lemons! |
