"Lake Luzerne,NY 1981 (revisited)" Lake Luzerne by davecallahan

Lake Luzerne Travel Guide: 7 reviews and 10 photos

We originally went to Lake Luzerne as part of our big see-all-new-england loop because it was near the Vermont part of the trip, and it had a KOA campgrounds and it was easy to get to (right on route 9N, near routes 4 and 1).

We have gone back to that area recently when visiting friends in Albany.
It still is a nice quiet town (compared to its loud neighbor, Lake George) with some beautiful parks and clear lake and ponds.
On the whole, it is a pleasant place to spend a few hours if you are on a daytrip in the area.
