like everyone else, I think my hometown is the greatest place to grow up.
But the place has really changed from being a large town to being a sub-city with as many people and area as metropolitan Rochester for which it is a suburb. And the expansion continues as we speak (Feb2007). The town hall just moved a mile farther north to emulate the population spread in the area. We now have 4 Zipcodes for this "town".
So maybe it is time to "move farther in and farther up" as C.S.Lewis said.
wikipedia info: 94000 people in 37000 homes with each household making $50000. |

Greece used to be called Northhampton but the name was changed in the 1820s in reference to the Greece/Turkey war at that time. |
