My cousin used to own one of the places in Clayton (Bertrands Motel) and they live in the area, so we used to visit them every couple of years.

Always found the place friendly, with plenty to do and good places to eat.

A town where fisherman and vacationers visiting Alexandria Bay and the Thousand Islands and boating enthisiasts congregate. There are a few crafts shops and turn-of-the-century buildings but mostly it is a small town atmosphere where people wave to each other as they walk down the street.
