I spent some time here while on service to the USA.
It is a US territory. To me it looked like any army base with the surrounding community being supported by tourism and other age-old employments.
There are about 170000 people lving here, not counting military transients.
Like many of the Pacific islands, Guam has some fantastic scenery and some great beaches. |
