Problems with buddying-up..... We went camping with friends to Cape Cod area. They brought along another set of their friends (strangers to my wife and I). For the first day or so, everything was cordial. By the end of the second day a pattern was apparent. Everything I or my wife suggested was voted a NO but everything the other couple wanted to do got a rousing YES. So by the third day, and I hadn't done any of the things I wanted to do yet (and it did not look as if I was going to get to do), we decided to let the other four go about their business and we did our own thing. (most of our camera work was with slide film, so stock photos are used in the tips to show what we saw) wikipedia info: 3500 people official website is: http://www.provincetowngov.org/ |

| | interesting facts Provincetown is a mix of old and new. This is also seen in the symbolism used in the area government. Some departments use images of the past, like the 1620 Compact depicted on the city seal. Other departments, such as the Wellfleet Police which protect the area, use images of growth and technology, like the wireless which opened up the horizons to the edge of the world.
