Georgia is one of the better states to travel into and through and to spend some time to see.

Everywhere we stopped, the people were cordial and courteous
(even though it was obvious from our accents that we were from New York).
We found none of the latent hostility that we were shown in some of the
other southern states.

We traveled throughout the state over a four day period hitting cities along the major routes (I-20, I-95 and I-75).
The weather was warm but not as hot/humid as Florida and not as damp in the morning as the Carolinas.
We caught rain part of each day but that's what happen in springtime.

Next time we go to Florida we will again find time to spend in Georgia... you can bet on that.
