This was my eighth trip back to Alcoy. As with previous trips - I always have the sense that I've returned home. How could I not? This is the place where my life was saved. Many friends have been made, and the town is welcoming.
It was a great stay this time - I got to try out a new hotel, several new restaurants, and nose around a few corners I'd not had the opportunity to explore previously.
- Pros:Easy to explore, people are warm and friendly, lots to see!
- Cons:Most of the good stuff is missed if you simply drive through - go on foot!
- In a nutshell:A hidden gem in the hills
