Our Hotel

We stayed at the Weisse Kruez and it was perfect. The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. The hotel provide a complimentary breakfast and the service was very friendly. The hotel was located in the Old Town, within a rock's throw of the "Golden Roof." Our balcony had a beautiful view of the Alps. For Americans, there was a MacDonald's restaurant next door. I've included a photo from our balcony window. I would recommend this hotel without any reservations!

Innsbruck - Day 2

On our second day, we stumbled across a Catholic celebration known as Corpus Christi. The parade procession was along the street of our hotel and included an Austrian band and members of the local Catholic clergy.

We also took a cable car ride to Nordpark for a scenic view of Innsbruck, and the Alps. Here's a pic of my wife enjoying a glass of wine while visiting the park.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Prices are very reasonable.
Cons:Cannot drive in the Old Town during the day, so arrive at your hotel before noon.

Absoutely the nicest hotel we've stayed at during our trips to Europe. The staff was great, the buffet breakfast... more travel advice
