I was only there long enough to drink a beer and eat an apple.
I walked up on a glacier and was immediately screamed at by a jerk tour guide.
He said it may not be safe. Well, there were 1,000s of footprints around where I was.
So I pretended not to hear ( I was up about 1/4 mile and nearly out of earshot) and proceeded to drink the beer I had hidden in my pocket and eat an apple. As long as we were on the beach in the penquin *** it was ok.
The ship I was on was the Bark Europa. The ship was good, only 41 people so we could all go ashore at once. There is a rule in Antarctica that no more than 100 ppeople can be ashore at once! |
