Bed Supperclub: Everything's White!

  • Restaurant Name: Bed Supperclub

From the outside, it looks like a spaceship. Gradual stairs leads u to the entrance where u pay 600 baht on a weekend to get in. Includes 2 drinks. Here u decide which way to go; left to restaurant bar where dinner and/or drinks could be had on a stretch of white daybeds with the companionship of chillout music...cool! Great for chilling out. Suitable for intimate conversations. After dark, proceed to the right and dance the night away at the main bar. When u get tired, more daybeds and another bar counter can be found upstairs. A good mix of locals and expats while i was there. The decor and architecture is something u cannot miss when in Bangkok! Good food, glorious drinks and beautiful people...What else are u expecting? Everything not cheap though. Expect to spend more here.

Favorite Dish: Dinner was over when i was there. But i tried this supper snack though. Fried calamari with king prawns. The squid in gold was both crunchy and chewy, not forgetting the huge prawns which was cooked just right. Wash it down with an ice cold Singha beer. Hmm...tasty! Period. The price? 280 baht. Totally worth it.

MBK Food Court: Cheap and good eats

  • Restaurant Name: MBK Food Court

The most popular shopping mall in Bangkok has another gem...the food court! Here, u buy some coupons and exchange it with food at any stall in the food court. There is a good selection of stalls ranging from local to japanese to korean meals. You can even find Singaporean favourite like chicken rice here. There's even sharksfin and birdnest here. Clean and hygenic as food handlers do not come into contact with money. Find this on the 6th floor. A decent meal with drinks do not even cost more than 100 baht. You will definitely find something u like here.
