Conakry is one of the most fascinating West African capital cities! Very poor with crumbling buildings, some with visible bullet holes, but also very tropical and wet. You won't see any other tourists here. |

These fishermen were happy to be photographed, but, while taking the picture of a monument, 3 men dressed in military clothes took my passport and walked away...! I got it back after offering them 20000 Guinean francs (US$2). |
