Hot Exploring the souk was very interesting, during my 8 hour layover. Immigration was easy to manage, and ATM is directly outside arrivals, and a nice taxi downtown is easy to manage. Wander the souk in Qatar is very different to the rest of the Middle East I have visited. Everyone is relaxed and content, no fussy or pushy sales. I did visit in August, which means it was hot and humid, even at 10pm the temperature was above 40 with 100% humidity. It took me 5 to 10 minutes to take my first picture after my camera warmed up and the condensation stopped forming. |
