I thought I had done a fair share of traveling myself but reading some of the VT WebPages I became very envious. I will start working on that...from now on..I will dedicate my "free time" to travel around the world! :)
So..If you have any suggestion of where I MUST go please DO TELL!
I am originally from a country with such bad publicity (no all it's truth by the way): Colombia: wonderful place to be, Colombians will always go beyond any expectation in friendliness!, the weather is perfect, do you know you can find at least 15 types of fruits that you haven't ever tried in your entire life? (I bet you haven't tried Granadilla ah??) :) And what about the women?? Gorgeous!!! LOL.. Even though I live far and I don't get to "return" as much as I want, Colombia will be always in my heart..!!
The second most wonderful place that I have recollection of being there is AMSTERDAM. All the history (big follower of the second war world), the flowers, even the smell is wonderful...It's quite charming how proud they are about their "freedom". I love the fact the entire city could be ridden by bike! Awesome!
OK. I will be in Italy at the end of May...Perhaps I will be changing my thoughts about "the most beautiful place I ever been" after this trip. :)
Take care and have a wonderful day! |
| | Visit To Italy! We loved it! I firmly believe everyone should go visit that country at least once in a life time! ..it was amazing!!! The whole country is surreal!!!
We loved the fact we visited many little towns in the Tuscany area (which we wouldn’t ever know about them if it wasn’t for the tour!) but I think it was TOO MUCH in such little time! I mean…I could tell you we “brushed” pretty much every “highlight” in Rome, Venice and Florence…but because everything was so quickly there were some parts that I would’ve loved to stay a little longer but it was impossible…
Either way..it was great…I think since it was the first time we went, the tour was fantastic and let us know what place we would love to visit again and what places were just fine!
But I am serious when I tell you, the whole country looks surreal…the panoramic is unbelievable!!! People are so grateful you try to “butch” the Italian language…plus I noticed it’s very similar to Spanish so we had a good advantage right there..
The food was unbelievable! The first day we were recommended to go to this fancy and very old restaurant (200 years old) and the food was ok…but when we went around and found restaurant “out of the beaten path” Oh my gosh!! They were the kind of PAPA AND MAMA restaurant so it was awesome!!!
Anyway…I could keep writing and writing…. |
