Visit Christiansø

The little Islands Ærtholmene, as there are: Christiansø, Frederiksø, and Græsholm are the most easterly islands of Denmark.
Græsholm is a bird sanctuary and is closed for the public.
In 1684 the Danish started fortifying the islands and where called after the King Christian V. The small island was called after King Frederik. Today there are living aroud 100-115 people on the islands.
