Many people assume that because CR is in Central America that it is unsafe. We spent a week there and I had no fear whatsoever when we were off the resort at any time.

This is a beautiful lush country during rainy season. The rainy season ends in November. Although we only had rain for about 1 hour 4 days out of 7.

The mountains and volcanos are amazing. This is a place to go if you are interested in ecological edventures. This is the basis of all their tours.

We had the opportunity to visit beautiful waterfalls, a volcano crater, and walk through the rainforest.

They have the big blue butterflies swooping by you while walking in the forest. We saw many monkeys just hanging on it trees along the side of the road.

It was very hot while we were there and apparently it gets hotter in their dry season.

We stayed at the Fiesta Premier Resort and it was fabulous. It was a smaller resort and while we were there the resort had probably about 150 people staying there.

You have the choice of a bungalow that has two rooms in it or you can stay up in the 400's which is at the top of the hill but apparently was worth the view.

There were two a la carte restaurants. I highly recommend the spinach ravioli at the italian restaurant. It was to die for.

Also the macadamia nut and garlic soup at the other restaurant was excellent.

There isn't alot of night life at this resort but we made the best of it. Brought our Ipod and they let us hook it up to the speakers and all the Canadians that were there which was about 90% of the guests had a great time.

The resort offers some great FREE activities.

They have a snorkeling tour, a kayaking tour, a walking tour, a sunset tour and a bike tour off of the resort. We took advantage of each of these and it was great. I was able to see a baby stingray while snorkeling and we were able to see the spider monkyes as well as the howler monkeys.

The sunset tour is a must see it is quit the view.
