What a Town!

by Knoto - last update: Sep 9, 2002

We spend two weeks at the Lake Balaton. We also make two Daytrips to the Capital: BUDAPEST.

For the first trip we used the train. He need for 118 km. 2,5 Hours. That was a little bit hard, but cheap.
For our second trip we used our car and we need just a little bit over 1 Hour. That was much better.
First we visited the Pest side of Budapest. We walked down the Andrassy uit until the Heroes Place and the little Forrest behind.Than we checked out the mainstreet and the Donau area.

At our second trip we enjoyed the Buda Side. Castle District, Fishermans Bastion...!

And we meet Tamir(Tamirros) at the Bastion. We had a wonderful afternoon!!!But it was to short. We must do it again...
(Thanks for the Photos btw.!!)

Let's start our Tour with some Photos. Hope you like it.

Peter

Peter, you've got some really nice pictures here. I love the Fisherman's Bastion. Budapest seems to have some really unique architecture ~ Helen
