Salt Island is not only known for its salt ponds but also for the well-known wreck dive of the RMS Rhone. |

| | Diving the RMS Rhone Consider yourself lucky if you happen to be a certified scuba diver since diving the wreck offers the best view of the RMS Rhone. Snorkelers will be able to see portions of the boat (the best being the stern section) and still be impressed but scuba divers will be rewarded with swim-throughs and brightly colored coral that have taken over the ship and an abundance of sea life that now call this wreck home.
Stern depth: 20-50 ft (6-15 m) Bow depth: 65-80 ft (20-24 m) Midsection: 50-70 ft (15-21 m)
My max depth: 68 feet Temperature: 79F in December |
| | Above Water By the way, the coastline is quite nice as well! |
