yum... - Las Vegas

yum...

El Jefe: Local Favorite!

The food here is sinfully good!

First off, the chips they bring you ae absolutely delicious...crispy, yet moist, and comes with 2 kinds of salsa...a fresh pico de gallo and a salsa verde.

One of the best appetizers on the menu: Crab dip. I have never tasted anything so decadent in my life...and it comes with large slices of buttery french bread to dip it in.

Favorite Dish: I had a recommendation on the shrimp enchiladas...so good! The sauce is sweet, and locals tend to order 2 portions of rice (skip the beans) and mix it in with the extra sauce...go very, very hungry, or don't go at all!

Everything in the restaurant gets awesome reviews!

Gangster Italian Food - Las Vegas
Cafe Martorano: Gangster Italian Food

I LOVED this restaurant when I went in FL. Unfortunately, it lost something on it's move to NV. The food went from fabulous to mediocre, the ambiance from exciting to not so much. The service is excellent, and the wait staff is very personable. The original 12 tables in FL is much more fun than the overwhelming 50 in the dining area in Vegas...which loses the fun of having all the plasmas with the gangster movies around since it's such an after though here.

Favorite Dish: ~meatballs
~chicken marsala
~spaghetti

Japanois: @The Mirage

So many great places to choose from in Las Vegas, and Japanois is definitely one of them! Located in The Mirage, this clean, streamlined restaurant has decent sushi, amazing deserts, and one dish you MUST try: "The Rock". Thinly sliced marinated New York strip steak cooked at the table on a hot rock.

Other awesome option:

*Tuna flatbread pizza
*Miso Soup
*Apple Tart Desert

Johnny Rockets: Old Fashioned Burgers

Can you say 790 calorie hamburger?

I guess I can. Perfect for the ever-present Vegas hangover. This old-fashioned burger joint has all the American classics; burgers, fries, milkshakes, onion rings, hot dogs. Sometimes the coronary is worth it.

Fun fact: Johnny Rocket hamburgers can be made over a million different ways. Favorite toppings include crispy onion rings, Tilamook cheddar cheese, and all meat chili.

Favorite Dish: Burger and a diet soda.
