Kars is on the north-east, Georgia and Armenia border of Turkey.
You must see Çildir lake. You make walk 6 months at frozen lake. And you may eat fish always. I couldn't see but don't forget to Devil castle!
Kars is devided into 3 cities. Çildir is in the Ardahan city border now but I still accept all of them as a Kars.

There is a 7000 years history in this city... It was on the silk road and always very important. Most important place is Ani ruins, 45 km far from the city. The first settlement in Ani was begun in 4th. cc. It was on the silk road and saw many civiliztions like Urartu, Kimmer, Saka Turks, Arsak, Sasani, Arab, Bagrat(Armenian Ani kingdom), Bizanthion, Seljuk, Ani gurcus, Harzemsah, Mongol, Ilhanli, Karakoyun, Akkoyun, Afsar Turks, Ottoman, Russian and finally Turks(1921) again. You can see lovely old buildings, castle, walls... It takes at least 3-4 hours to see everything. It was great to visit there even at snowy time.

You may see beautiful old buildings in the city. There are many Russian style houses. People are lovely.
