  • Now I am eating baklava. I wanted to describe how you can make baklava but it is not easy. So you just come and eat here. :-)) I eat in every place but if you want to eat good one, try to find some special places for this dessert.
Güllüoglu, Hacibozanogullari, Haci Bekir and Uzungil are the best places for eat baklava (and börek). Afiyet olsun. (Bon appetit)

  • May be you can eat "börek" (a kind of pastry)in many countries but I guess you can't find easily "su böregi". If you find, try to eat. Very delicious and making very difficult.
I guess Güllüoglu, Hacibozanogullari, Haci Bekir,Uzungil are best brands for it.
    Afiyet olsun. (Bon appetit)

  • Turkish carpets and rugs have many different tipes, depends places, materials, designs etc. I don't understand much but I like to look. This is an art. The most famous tipes are; Hereke, Ladik, Yagcibedir,Milas,Isparta,Van,Yörük, Bergama,Kayseri,Bünyan,Yahyali,Bergama, Konya etc. In Turkey you may see Iranian, Afgan carpets too. I will try to put some samples in travelogues.

  • As you can guess Turkey has great seasides. You may spend 1 day, 1 week or more at the sea. You may sea many places, swim and read all day. It is great. This year I spend 1 week at the sea. It was very relaxing. You can see in my photos:

    http://picasaweb.google.com.tr/tuna.ank/MaviYolculuk?authkey=Gv1sRgCMuI86PC_ofvwwE#

As you can see our cook was great, so I have more kilos after many swimming! But it worthed!:-)) We chose Marmaris-Datca route. It is silent route and the sea is very clean. If you choose other routes they can be more crowded, can be a bit dirty but landscapes are better. There are many routes from Bodrum, Marmaris, Fethiye, Kas, Kalkan, Antalya etc. Any way, you will not regret whatever you choose.
Being 14 people in the gullet can be boring sometimes. It can better to take all gullet rooms with friends and share total price. One boat is 9000-8000 TL at August-July. Other months are cheaper.

You may see my boat's company. There are many more.
