2008 was St.Paul year. So, many religious people visited to Tarsus. Unfortunately I don't know there enough and I don't have much photo about Tarsus. I prefer to see platos of Tarsus.
All around Turkey there are lots of things to see. It is hard to choose. What I like the most? For sea, almost all seasides in Egean coast (Ege denizi) and Mediterrean coast(Akdeniz). Ölüdeniz, Kusadasi, Bodrum, Kemer, Olympos, Alanya etc. You can swim and sail in many coasts. Historical places: Istanbul, Didim, Bodrum, Bergama, Alanya, Kas, Fethiye, Amasya, Amasra, Sumela monastery(Blacksea), on the east: Diyarbakir, Adiyaman(Nemrut) , Urfa, Mardin,Midyat, Van, Kars etc. For natural beauties: Pamukkale, Dalyan, Blacksea mountains, Cappadocia, waterfalls in Antalya area etc. You can ski in Bolu, Bursa, Kars, Erzurum etc. You can dive in many coastal area especially at Kas and Bodrum. Rafting is possible in some rivers, I prefer Kesikkopru in Antalya. Paragliding is possible around nice landscapes, Ölüdeniz is the best for me.

I tried to write something about Turkish foods in travellogues , than I wrote another one for Turkish desserts. And suddenly I decided to make a dessert. And I wrote a tip about Revani dessert. So , this was dangerous day! :-)) I hope you can also cook it. Or come to Turkey for eating. :-))

Fine information on your homeland, Nur. BTW, doesn't "Nur" mean "Light"? I've had TÜRKiYE on my list of places to visit for sometime, we have to make plans someday soon. :)
Same like the one we make here too ! I think I won't find any difficulties in food in Turkey ! which I love too much ! xxx
I'm becoming really hungry watching your things about Turkish cuisine
Great tips!
Oh Nur, all these great desserts are so familiar to me :) thanx for the recipe!
I've got a triple Sezen Aksu CD - a present from my Korean friend who used to live in Turkey. Such unhealthy dessert is Revani, but still, it sounds sooo yummy :))) Tanistigimiza memnun oldum (I learnt my 1st lesson, haha)!
Wow this looks really good. I remember Baklava from last year, but I have to try the rest too ;)) - next time.
I loooove Revani!
Are you open for business? That revani looks absolutely delicious. mmm! Biiiiig hugs. xxx Lori I saw that you just made a new tip. hehe! I also love Baklava & stuffed grape leaves.
