Next trip:Macedonia, Albania and Kosova. | Lazienki palace at Warsaw |
I just came from Poland-Denmark-Sweden trip. I was together with OH-DK and Paragianna75 for the 4th time. (Two Greeks, one Ottoman and one Viking invaded to Poland! :-)) (I stole this from OH_DK!) It was a great trip. We also could meet with Lena44u and Wroclawiak , I hope we can meet again. I finished Poland (Warsaw( Warsaw), Cracow( Krakow), Wroclaw( Wroclaw), Poznan( Poznan) and Szamotuly( Szamotuly), Sweden (Skane area)( Skåne)( Hels) and Denmark (Bornholm( Bornholm)( Christiansø), Helsingor( Hel), Kobenhavn( Cop), Roskilde( Ros) pages and tips. I may write more later... |
| | CAPPADOCIA In september 2007 Paragianna75, OH-DK, Cachaseiro, Revontulet and I met in Cappadocia for balloon trip and hiking. It was great meeting. ( Cappadocia) |
SLOVENIA At february 2008 I was in Slovenia with OH_DK and Paragianna75. Slovenia, especially Bled was incredible. ( Slovenia-Bled) We also met with Mirsacirca at Ljubljana.
| | KÜTAHYA-AIZANOI I visited Kütahya and AIZANOI archeological site short time ago. I put more photos and prepared some tips for you at Kutahya page.( Kütahya) I decided to sign places on the map. So , you may find those maps on my "general tip"s on every city. We prefer to say "Turkiye" instead of "Turkey", don't surprise. |
GEORGIA (Gürcistan) Last summer I was in neighbour Georgia.( Georgia) I liked to see there. Especially Vardzia was great... I am very sorry about the war in Georgia. I hope everything will be better. I send my best wishes to Georgia.
| | Travelling I've already seen 47 countries and almost all cities of Turkey. ( Türkiye)Unfortunately, it is not easy write about old days and scan old photos about all countries I've been so far. However, I can help, if anyone asks for any tips on the countries or locations. Especially for my country of course. I love travelling. Architecture, sculptures, meeting with local people and eating local foods are important for me. I don't have any prejudice or hate for any nation. (I just hate to racists.) I believe that we were all innocent babies once upon a time . To born here or there is just a coincidence... Some people are trying to put artificial walls between us. Life is hard enough. So, we don't need any extra problem. There are wonderfull things and people to see all around the world. I believe that if everybody can travel, wars may decrease. "Peace at home, peace in the world" (Atatürk) |
Think about it I saw this sentences on Statens art museum at Kobenhavn. Worth to think! "I often catch myself defending my own country" "But do I really think it's that good a place? Or did I just grow up believing it is?"
"I often catch myself criticing my own country" "But do I really think it's that bad a place? Or am I just afraid of seeming nationalistic?"
