I visited Slovakia for the first time in July of 1997, returned in Jan 1999 and again in June 2000. I cherish the memories. I hope to show through words and photo some of the beauty that you will find here in the heart of Europe.

The photo is of St. Michael's. Of course, as historical places often do, this one has a legend...make a wish while walking under the tower. And to that I add...choose your wish very carefully.

 People here don't like to speak foreign lang. Even number of flowers in bouquet is used just for graves :) so it doesn't mean bad luck. Dragonheart was filmed also in region of Spis, then here in West in Cerveny Kamen :)
