Wish I could say that this was a trip tied to a vacation, but it wasn't. I was operating out of Bahrain and was tasked to go down to the Seychelles and take some supplies and materials to help the people clear away some of the debris from the Tsunami.

Our flight in was uneventful, but spectacular all the same. After flying for hours over the ocean, and then to come across an Island Paradise like the Seychelles, and it's outer lying Islands, is still a wonder of navigation to me.

The runway sits on a strip of land that seems as though it was dug out of a cliff face that fronts a long section of shore. One side is rocks and hills, and the other side is the Indian Ocean. Pretty cool.
