Arches National Park was probably one of my favorite things about this trip. There are so many arches to see and so many trails to explore. It's also great for people that don't want to do a lot of walking, as a lot of things in the park are easily accessible. This was the most crowded park we visited. My advice is to do what we did - we started hiking at 8 AM and were out of the park by 3 PM. As the afternoon approached, so did the crowds. It costs $10/vehicle to visit this park.

- Pros:So many wonderful things to see; easily accessible
- Cons:Can get crowded and be hard to find parking in the afternoon
- In a nutshell:Land of Many Arches!

Nice page and lovely photos of one of my favorite parks. More Arches on your pages that I didn't get to see, and they are all so pretty, and I love the rock colour! isn't it stunning!
I really do appreciate your comments on the trails and distances and degree of vigor needed. It helps much
great page and photos - a place I certainly want to visit
So many great photos, and a great introduction to lots of trails! But I can't believe parents were letting their kids climb on the arches - surely that isn't allowed?
An interesting new page with fine photos. Getting an early start in the morning sounds like very good advice in a place like this.
Is there also a "fallen arch"? Some lady at the Shoe Station was talking about it the other day. OK, enough humor. GREAT page, enjoyed my peek.
This park is amazing!!! On my wish list for years...I hope to be there soon!!!
Hah! I can just see you trying to get out to Delicate Arch. Yup, very scary!
Great photos and it looks like you hiked quite a bit. Glad you had great weather to. Thanks for the memories. :-) Ann, TS
